The essence of the American cowboy knows no geographic boundaries. As a Combat-Wounded Army Veteran of the Iraq War, I turned to cowboying as a component of my recovery. When the opportunity to learn how to craft custom cowboy hats and fedoras came along, I jumped at it, and True North Custom Hat Works was born!

At True North Custom Hat Works, we make hats by hand, one hat at a time, using traditional hat making methods. We use the finest beaver, beaver/rabbit blend, and pure-rabbit hat bodies.
All hats are made to the crown shape and brim size that you desire, and come standard with a name-stamped sweatband and matching grosgrain hat ribbon. Additional charges apply for the inclusion of a bow, a self-band with a buckle set, or a custom hatband that we can discuss at the time of your order.
